Your adventure begins here – because Opportunity Changes EverythingKey Duties and Responsibilities:Assist in the development and implementation of programs and activities that are consistent with agency core values and core programming areas.Ensure that programs develop, engage members, address healthy positive child development and provide members with a sense of belonging.Provide a nurturing, fun and safe environment for childrenEstablish positive relationships and open communication with parents/guardiansEnsure that specific goals of the children and programs are metAttends to children’s physical needs, which may include diapering, toileting, eating and sleeping.Keep program facilities and equipment safe and clean, reporting any repairs and concerns to senior staffQualifications:Early Childhood Assistant Certification is requiredCurrent First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtainSuccessful completion of Agency screening process, including a criminal record checkHours: 25 hours per day, Monday to Friday, 11:30am – 4:30pmRate of Pay: $ per hourClosing Date: Open until filledAs an equal opportunity employer, BGC Okanagan is committed to the prioritization of equitable and inclusive employment practices.
