Farm Machinery Operator (Spanish Speaking)





Rubicon Holdings Corp. is seeking motivated and reliable
Farm Machinery Operators to support our greenhouse operations in Delta, BC.
This hands-on role is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical outdoor work and
are eager to learn. No prior experience is required - we'll provide full
training.

You'll play a key role in maintaining and operating farm
equipment, ensuring our machinery is safe, functional, and ready to support
day-to-day greenhouse activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented,
safety-conscious, and comfortable working in various environmental conditions.

What You'll Do

·
Operate and maintain farm machinery, greenhouse
equipment, and production systems 

·
Perform routine inspections, safety checks, and
basic troubleshooting on Irrigation systems, HVAC systems, Lighting, Mobile
equipment, Packaging machines

·
Conduct routine maintenance including filter
replacements, component testing, and minor repairs

·
Follow preventive and scheduled maintenance
plans using our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)

·
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and
readiness of all equipment and systems

·
Perform and record regular perimeter checks of
interior and exterior site systems

·
Communicate with internal teams, contractors,
and suppliers to coordinate maintenance and repairs

·
Adhere to all safety procedures, emergency
protocols, and company SOPs to ensure a compliant and safe work environment

·
Support general farm and greenhouse operations
as required

·
Complete tasks requiring standing, bending,
crouching, kneeling, or lifting up to 50 lbs

·
Be available for on-call emergency maintenance
on a rotating schedule

Work Environment

·
Greenhouse and outdoor farm setting

·
Exposure to hot, cold, dusty, humid, or
refrigerated environments

·
Physically demanding, hands-on role with varying
conditions

Qualifications

·
No degree, certificate, or diploma required - we
will train the right candidate

·
1–2 years of maintenance or mechanical repair
experience, ideally in agriculture, greenhouse, food production, or industrial
settings

· Conversational Spanish is required 

·
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow
procedures

·
Able to work independently and as part of a team

·
Strong problem-solving and task prioritization
skills

·
Comfortable with repetitive tasks and physically
fit

·
Valid First Aid certification (or willingness to
obtain)

·
Forklift operator certification preferred

·
Additional safety certifications considered an
asset
