Responsibilities

  • Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or assembling ingredients under supervision.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas through regular cleaning routines.
  • Support food service operations by bussing tables, clearing plates, and resetting dining areas promptly.
  • Aid in setting up catering events or banquet functions by organizing supplies and assisting with basic food handling.
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to support smooth workflow during busy service hours.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required—enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
  • Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and food safety standards.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending comfortably.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with food preparation, bussing, or catering is a plus—especially if you have banquet or hotel experience.
