With four chiropractors and five massage therapists, our office sees a high volume of patients every day, so we need someone who is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable supporting both front-desk operations and in-clinic therapies.

Applicants with previous experience in a chiropractic, physiotherapy, massage therapy, or medical office setting will be given priority consideration.

Position: Chiropractic Office Assistant / Therapy Assistant

Location: Linford Chiropractic Sports Therapy and Massage Clinic, Sherwood Park

Starting Pay: $18–$22/hour based on experience

Hours: Primarily during reception hours, with some adjustments as needed

About the Role:

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day and working as part of a collaborative healthcare team. You will support front-desk operations, assist with patient flow, and provide hands-on support as a Therapy Assistant when needed. Training will be provided for therapy support and equipment use.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and check in patients with professionalism and warmth
  • Manage scheduling, phones, and daily patient flow
  • Process payments and maintain accurate billing records
  • Assist with MVA, WCB, and third-party billing
  • Assist as a Therapy Assistant with therapies and equipment setup (training provided)
  • Support chiropractors and massage therapists with both administrative and clinical assistance
  • Prepare treatment areas and assist with patient flow between therapies
  • Keep the clinic clean, organized, and running smoothly
  • Communicate clearly with patients regarding appointments, forms, fees, and clinic policies
  • Protect and maintain confidentiality of patient information
  • Demonstrate reliability, initiative, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a chiropractic, physiotherapy, massage therapy, or healthcare clinic preferred
  • Knowledge of MVA, WCB, and third-party billing is an asset
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Friendly, professional, and patient-focused demeanor
  • Comfortable assisting with therapies and learning hands-on clinical tasks
  • Experience with Jane clinic management software is an asset
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
