Role Description:

Harbex Group Inc. is seeking a Freight Sales Agent to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new customer accounts, maintaining existing relationships, and offering tailored freight solutions to meet the unique needs of our shipping clients. You will be the face of Harbex to our customers, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and providing ongoing support post-sale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, engage, and onboard new customers through outreach, cold calling, referrals, and email campaigns
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with shipping clients across North America
  • Understand customer freight needs and present customized transportation solutions
  • Negotiate rates, create service agreements, and close sales
  • Address customer concerns and ensure continued satisfaction with Harbex's services
  • Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Proven experience in freight sales, logistics, or transportation (3PL/brokerage experience is an asset)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing remote team
  • Experience in delivering presentations or onboarding training to customers is a plus
  • Excellent negotiation, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience in the transportation industry is beneficial
