Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, with expertise in residential settings. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as the ability to work with various power and hand tools. The Journeyperson Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and/or residential settings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using logic controllers and low voltage systems.
  • Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project completion on time.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations while performing electrical work.
  • Train and Guide Apprentices.

Skills

  • Proven experience as an commercial or residential electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
  • Familiarity with various power tools and hand tools used in electrical work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • A maintenance person mentality with the ability to adapt to various tasks as needed.
  • Drivers Licences and Reliable Transportation.
