About The Opportunity
On behalf of a valued client, LRO Staffing is engaged in an active search for a Project Engineer. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a hybrid work arrangement. The selected candidate will report to the Engineering Manager.

Looking through a project focused lens, the selected candidate will help to spearhead electronic design projects as they go from concept through to production.

Our client is a leader in the design and manufacturing of power equipment, everything, cradle to grave, being executed on Canadian soil.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Project management of electronics design primarily
  • Manage budget, risk, schedule and reports
  • Work with customer requirements to help drive engineering team's electronics design activities
  • Collaboration with manufacturing, ILS, supply chain and engineering teams
  • Application of a wide variety of communication protocols to new product designs

About You
The successful candidate will have the following:

  • 5+ years' experience in Project Management, ideally with PMP certification
  • Background in electronics or understanding of electronics design
  • Experience working with MS Project or similar
  • Any experience working within a production / manufacturing environment ideal

About the Job
This position is located in the Halifax area. Offering a salary up to $120K, along with terrific benefits and retirement savings program.
