Position Overview:

As an HVAC Install Technician, you will be responsible for the installation various of heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in residential and commercial properties. You will work closely with a team of experienced technicians to ensure that each installation is completed according to industry standards and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ventilation systems and ductwork.
  • Perform assessments of job sites and prepare equipment and tools needed for installation.
  • Ensure that all installations comply with local codes and safety regulations.
  • Perform system testing, calibration and commissioning to ensure proper operation.
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Maintain accurate records of materials used, job progress, and completed installations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during or after the installation process.
  • Keep work area clean and organized, maintaining safety at all times.
  • Assist in the maintenance of company vehicles and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Journeyperson Sheet Metal Worker.
  • Secondary ticket in Gasfitting would be an asset.
  • Fluent in reading Commercial Blueprints
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying environmental conditions.
  • Ability to work at heights, including roofs and aerial work platforms.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
