Job Details:

  • Shift: 7/7,8/6, 14/14
  • Compensation:Competitive rates based on your experience
  • Working Hours:12h
  • Travel Pay:Ground and flight travel compensation
  • Pre-Employment Conditions:Pre-access D&A test, Standard PPE

Requirements:

  • Assembling, installing, maintaining, testing, troubleshooting and repairing HVAC equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls on all equipment.
  • Reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints and schematics to determine layout of HVAC equipment installations.
  • Providing technical HVAC assistance to coworkers as required.
  • Developing and conducting preventative maintenance programs and keeping up to date and accurate maintenance records.
  • Carrying out soldering, brazing, welding and various other pipe joining techniques on or in relation to refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
  • Maintaining and making electrical repairs to existing equipment from the breaker or disconnect switch as follows: Changing controls, contactors, motors and compressors; repairing burnt or broken wires; making minor upgrades of controls to existing refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
  • Install and calibrate related controls (including wiring).
  • Startup systems, test lines to detect leaks, and record readings to ensure the system in functioning correctly.
  • Submit recommendations and quotes to internal/external estimating teams, including technical details where required.
  • Proactively seek new HVAC/Process opportunities.
  • Ensure PTA cards are included as part of each job/task.
  • Complies with standards and procedures of the PTW Health & Safety Manual and Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.
