The Role

We are seeking a Cabinet Service Coordinator and Foreman to lead the hands-on execution of our restoration projects. You will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our restoration partners and clients from job assessments through to completion. This role is a diverse and varied position – it's a job for a keen problem solver who gets bored doing the same things every day. You'll work closely with our small but committed team, to assess, coordinate, and lead the installation of cabinetry restoring people's homes from damaged, to calm and livable spaces again.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess damaged cabinetry and millwork.
  • Create efficient and effective restoration plans and reports for insurance.
  • Coordinate and manage job timelines and flow from quote acceptance to completion.
  • Lead installation including planning, site communication, and team management.
  • Act as primary contact for all restoration partner Project Managers and Coordinators.
  • Maintain and provide documentation to key points of contact throughout projects.
  • Take responsibility for on-site health and safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site, treating each client's home with respect.
  • Communicate directly and professionally with clients during installs, embodying our values of clear communication and care.
  • Identify and resolve technical or installation issues proactively.
  • Coach and support junior team members when needed. This role will not have direct reports.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years experience in cabinetry and millwork.
  • Experience in restoration or service work related to cabinetry and millwork.
  • Proficient in the use of woodworking tools and installation equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings and plans.
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong problem solving and creative thinking abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills—this is a client-facing role.
  • Capable of lifting, moving, and installing cabinetry (50lbs+).
  • Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.

Nice to Have

  • Basic understanding of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical.
  • Experience with diverse types of cabinetry and hardware.
  • Experience in teaching or mentoring junior tradespeople.
