Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Babysitter/Nanny to provide attentive care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of the children while engaging them in educational and fun activities. This role requires a strong commitment to caregiving, creativity in planning activities, and the ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents.

Duties

  • Supervise and engage with children in a safe and stimulating environment
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks, accommodating any dietary restrictions
  • Assist with homework and educational activities to promote learning
  • Maintain cleanliness in play areas and ensure that toys are organized and safe
  • Provide care for children with disabilities, adapting activities as needed
  • Teach basic life skills through fun and interactive methods
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns

Experience

  • Previous experience working with children in a babysitting or nanny capacity is preferred
  • Skills in cooking and meal preparation to provide healthy options for children
  • Experience in cleaning and maintaining a tidy environment conducive to play and learning
  • Familiarity with caregiving techniques, especially for children with disabilities
  • A background in teaching or tutoring is a plus, enhancing the educational aspect of care
