The role of Holiday Parks Officer plays a crucial role in assisting the Contract and Asset Venue Manager to deliver exceptional services and operational support for the Holiday Parks across the Central Coast region. 

This position involves providing sound customer and client advice, managing relationships with stakeholders, and providing high value procurement activities that provide a cost-effective solution to Central Coast Council. 

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

Key activities of this role include: 

effectively liaise with Holiday Park users on a day to day basis and respond to all customer requests in a positive, efficient, diplomatic and timely manner via phone, face to face and written communications delivering effective administrative support and customer enquiry services to ensure efficient operations of the Holiday Parks functionprovide administrative support to the Holiday Parks Section, including residential site agreements and occupation agreements provide an effective procurement, and accounts payable function for the Holiday Parks section, including accurate and efficient purchasing/ procurement data management, the review of quotations received for the supply of goods and services to ensure value for money outcomes are achievedundertake ad hoc site inspections to ensure compliance with Council requirements.

Essential Criteria:

a Certificate IV qualification in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field OR demonstrated solid contemporary experience in a similar role, combined with ongoing professional developmenta current Class C Drivers Licence extensive experience in a customer service and administrative position within a medium to large, complex organisation with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks while demonstrating superior time management skillsexperience in maintaining electronic information system including financial management systems and processesexperience in contract administration and procurement systems, processes and principlesthe ability to understand, interpret and communicate procedures, policies and relevant legislationconflict resolution and communication skills including the ability to effectively resolve conflicts and complaints.

Council may create an eligibility list from this recruitment process and may utilise this list to fill other permanent or temporary vacancies.
