The Opportunity

  • Support in the day-to-day operations of the Youth Services programs.
  • Provide educational opportunities for youth in the following areas - health and wellness, impacts of colonization, addictions, family violence, abuse, self-esteem and culture and traditions.
  • Respond appropriately to crisis situations, evaluate the situation and follow established procedures to provide support.
  • Facilitate life skill development by offering workshops, guest speakers and community experts in after-school groups.
  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of culture camps

Role
What You Will Bring to The Role:

  • One-year post-secondary degree or diploma in Child and Youth Care, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a leadership capacity with youth.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

The target hiring range for this position is $ to $ Candidates will typically be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range. Placement within the wage range is dependent on the applicants' role specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and in consideration of factors such as market conditions and internal equity.
