Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider ( must have a level 3) to support the development and well-being of children in a nurturing environment. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and educational space for children of various ages, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of early childhood development principles.
Duties
- Supervise and monitor children's activities to ensure safety at all times
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and play sessions
- Assist children with daily routines such as feeding, dressing, and hygiene
- Foster positive social interactions among children and encourage cooperative play
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment conducive to learning and play
- Support children with special needs or disabilities as required, adapting activities to meet individual requirements
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and licensing standards
Skills
- Minimum 3 years experience as an early childhood educator required.
- French language will be an asset.
- Working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Strong caregiving skills with patience, empathy, and nurturing qualities
- Ability to teach basic skills through engaging activities and positive reinforcement
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Knowledge of child development milestones and appropriate caregiving practices
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities while maintaining a calm demeanor in dynamic environments

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
