Role Description
The Director of Partnerships, Core & Global Growth is responsible for stewarding and expanding RTV's core philanthropic partner portfolio, with a focus on multi-year, unrestricted, and flexible funding from professional foundations and aligned funders. This role plays a critical leadership function in strengthening long-term partnerships, deepening donor confidence, and driving sustainable revenue growth.

In addition to portfolio ownership, this Director leads geographic diversification of philanthropic revenue, with a specific mandate to expand RTV's footprint beyond North America, including Europe and other priority international markets. As a senior external-facing leader, the Director works closely with the senior leadership team to position RTV globally, develop regionally relevant cases for support, and build trusted relationships with new international partners.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership

  • Lead the strategy and execution for RTV's core donor portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational growth priorities and long-term financial sustainability.
  • Develop and implement a geographic diversification strategy to expand philanthropic support across Europe and other non-U.S. markets.
  • Partner with the Senior Director of Philanthropy and senior leadership to align donor strategy with programmatic scale, evidence, and impact narratives.
  • Serve as an advisor on global philanthropic trends, funding mechanisms, and international donor engagement.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Steward and grow relationships with existing core partners through high-quality engagement, reporting, and strategic dialogue.
  • Cultivate new relationships with international foundations, acting as a primary relationship holder.
  • Represent RTV at international convenings, donor meetings, conferences, and external speaking engagements.

Partnerships and Fundraising
Retain and grow the core donor portfolio with annual growth targets of 20% for renewals and upgrades, maintaining a turnover rate of- Lead complex, multi-year funding conversations, including unrestricted and flexible funding arrangements.
- Oversee proposal development, partnership agreements, reporting, and stewardship in collaboration with internal teams.
- Support cross-team fundraising efforts by contributing strategic insight, donor intelligence, and mentorship.
Performance Measurement

  • Set and achieve KPIs related to core funding growth, donor retention, and geographic diversification.
  • Track partner satisfaction and engagement metrics, using insights to refine strategies and approaches.
  • Apply a "People, Policy, Process, Practice" lens to continuously strengthen partnership management.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (Master's preferred, PhD is a bonus).
  • Proven success managing and growing complex foundation portfolios, including multi-year and unrestricted funding.
  • Demonstrated experience securing philanthropic support from international markets, particularly Europe.
  • Strong strategic leadership and relationship management capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience tailoring messaging across cultures and donor types.
  • Strong grant writing, reporting, and donor stewardship skills
  • Deep alignment with RTV's mission and values.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple high-value relationships simultaneously.

What We Offer

  • The expected salary range for this role is $100,000 to $120,000 CAD. pay is determined based on several factors, including education, experience, unique skills and other considerations related to the role.
