Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where technical expertise and problem-solving skills are highly valued.

Duties

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
  • Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Repair or replace faulty components, including belts, bearings, gears, and hydraulic systems
  • Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
  • Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery as needed

Requirements

  • Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance or repair roles
  • Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
  • Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, and impact drivers
  • Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Prior experience is preferred
  • Must be able to lift heavy objects safely and work in various physical positions as required
  • Must have your own tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
