Job Summary

Master Mechanic London seeking a professional and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers needing vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring a positive experience from initial consultation to service completion. This role requires excellent communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Previous dealership experience and mechanic knowledge are highly valued, enabling the advisor to effectively explain services and upsell additional repairs or maintenance. The Service Advisor will coordinate between customers and technicians to ensure timely and accurate service delivery, maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assess their vehicle service needs through effective communication.
  • Explain repair and maintenance options clearly, providing detailed estimates and timelines.
  • Schedule appointments efficiently while managing workflow to maximize shop productivity.
  • Upsell additional services or repairs based on customer needs, emphasizing the benefits of recommended maintenance.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments securely.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service orders, and vehicle history in the dealership management system.
  • Collaborate closely with technicians to communicate customer concerns and ensure quality work completion.
  • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
  • Stay informed about current automotive repair techniques, dealership promotions, and industry best practices to enhance service quality.

Qualifications

  • Prior dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory; relevant automotive or mechanic experience is highly advantageous.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Proven sales ability with experience in upselling services or products.
  • Cash handling experience ensuring accuracy in transactions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
