Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in daily operations, driving sales, and ensuring an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and sales strategies.
  • Supervise and train staff to enhance performance and promote a positive work environment.
  • Handle payroll processing and ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Engage in recruiting and interviewing potential candidates to build a strong team.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager on budgeting and financial planning to achieve sales targets.
  • Implement marketing strategies to drive store traffic and increase sales.
  • Oversee pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness while maintaining profitability.
  • Utilize POS systems for transactions and inventory tracking.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork through effective communication and organizational skills.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence others positively.
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are preferred to enhance customer interactions.
  • Familiarity with merchandising techniques and retail sales strategies.
  • Proficient in cash handling, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong phone etiquette.
  • Ability to manage time effectively while prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of training & development practices for staff growth.

Pay: $143,344.33-$179,622.34 per year
