The Opportunity
This is a high-impact, hands-on role for a technical expert who loves seeing a project come to life. You will take robotic systems "out of the box" and perform full setup, configuration, and programming. You will be the go-to person for ensuring robotic systems and PLC logic are integrated seamlessly and performing at peak efficiency.
This role combines hands-on physical integration with advanced programming and is ideal for candidates with robotics and automation experience.
Key Responsibilities
Robotic Setup & Commissioning
- Perform "out of the box" setup, configuration, and commissioning of robotic units.
- Ensure mechanical and electrical systems are integrated correctly with robots.
Programming & Integration
- Write, test, and debug complex robotic programs and PLC logic.
- Ensure robots and PLCs communicate effectively within larger automation systems.
Troubleshooting & Optimization
- Diagnose technical issues and implement programming or logic adjustments to improve cycle times and system reliability.
Collaboration & Documentation
- Work closely with mechanical and production teams to ensure hardware and software alignment.
- Maintain clear documentation of programs, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in industrial robotics programming (e.g., Fanuc, ABB, KUKA) and PLC integration.
- Hands-on experience performing robot commissioning and physical system setup.
- Experience in an automation, robotics, or integration environment.
- Logical problem-solving approach with ability to optimize systems.
- Comfortable working independently on complex automation systems.
