on a full-time permanent basis on our Finance team. This position is a

opportunity and is based in
Saskatoon, SK

If you are detail-oriented, relationship-driven, and passionate about guiding and supporting our local Co-ops, while developing a high-performing audit team to strengthen each Co-op's success, this opportunity is for you.
What you'll do:
- Lead interim audits for local Co-operatives, including planning, assigning audit work, reviewing results, providing feedback, and reporting control weaknesses to management and Boards of Directors.
- Lead year-end audits in coordination with external auditors, overseeing audit testing, ensuring compliance with ASPE and CAS, supporting the external audit opinion, and reviewing and filing corporate tax returns.
- Develop audit schedules, assign auditors based on experience and audit needs, and provide training on interim and year-end audit procedures.
- Manage and develop a diverse audit team through goal setting, performance reviews, professional development planning, and career conversations.

You will work closely with the local Co-ops and the Audit team and act as a subject matter expert. You will report into the Senior Audit Manager on a team that strives to cultivate a culture of work life balance, strong relationships, collaboration in challenging situations, and organization to create efficient processes.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Finance and:
- Have 8+ years of assurance experience with experience in Canadian Auditing Standards and Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises and supervisory experience of a minimum of 3 employees.
- Have a bachelor's degree with a major in accounting (a combination of relevant education, experience, and/or designations will be considered).
- Have a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation. Other relevant designations and/or certifications would be considered an asset.
