The Role
The Senior Finance Business Partner will lead financial planning, analysis, and decision support across eSentire. This highly visible role works closely with senior leadership to guide financial strategy and performance management. The ideal candidate is a proactive, analytical thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year planning in collaboration with senior leadership.
Deliver insights into business performance, trends, risks, and opportunities to support strategic decision-making.
Design and maintain dashboards and scorecards using Adaptive Insights, Power BI, and Excel.
Own monthly reporting cycles, including variance analysis and performance storytelling.
Review investment proposals and purchase requisitions for strategic alignment and budget compliance.
Build financial models and scenario analyses to support growth initiatives and resource planning.
Identify and implement process improvements across planning, reporting, and analytics.
Leverage AI-driven tools and techniques to enhance forecasting accuracy, automate reporting, and uncover actionable insights.
Act as a liaison between finance, operations, and functional teams to ensure alignment and accuracy.
Support leadership with ad hoc analysis and strategic projects.
Mentor and train stakeholders on financial tools and best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline
CPA designation (or actively pursuing); CFA charterholder or candidate, MBA with a finance concentration.
5–7+ years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, preferably in a high-growth or tech environment.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify complex data for executive audiences.
Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong business judgment, attention to detail, and intellectual curiosity.
Deep experience with NetSuite, Adaptive, Salesforce and Power BI.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Adaptive Insights or budget planning software
Experience with Dayforce
Experience with SaaS and technology organizations
Strong knowledge of US GAAP
Advanced Microsoft Excel computing skills
