Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Emergency Water Technician based in Abbotsford, BC. The technician will respond promptly to emergencies involving water damage, perform water extraction, manage water mitigation processes, and handle cleanup and restoration efforts. Responsibilities include assessing and addressing water issues, maintaining equipment, and restoring affected areas to pre-loss conditions. The technician will also ensure effective communication with team members and clients to facilitate smooth operations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in water damage restoration is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Perform water extraction and drying processes using specialized equipment.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients and team members
  • Ability to work in high-pressure situations and respond promptly to emergency calls
  • Physical capability to handle labour-intensive tasks
  • Careful demolition of the property we are restoring
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., WRT, IICRC) are a plus
