ICY Studios is a growing custom apparel and merchandise company based in Markham, Ontario, specializing in high-quality t-shirt printing, embroidery, and personalized products. We serve walk-in clients, local businesses, and custom brand creators who value quality, quick turnaround, and friendly service.

Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Production Associate to join our Markham team. This role is 80% production and 20% customer service, with full training provided for all tasks. You will work mainly on the production floor, printing t-shirts, preparing materials, inspecting products, and supporting daily workflow.

You will also assist walk-in customers occasionally by answering questions and helping with basic order-related needs.

The role requires long standing hours, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction (80%)

  • Operate t-shirt printing equipment (training provided).
  • Prepare materials such as garments, transfers, vinyl, and print setups.
  • Perform printing, heat pressing, sorting, tagging, and packaging.
  • Follow production schedules to ensure timely and accurate order completion.
  • Conduct quality checks on printed products.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the production workspace.
  • Support the production team with additional tasks as required.

Customer Service (20%)

  • Greet walk-in customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Assist customers with questions about sizing, fabric, print methods, and product options.
  • Help customers upload designs or complete simple computer tasks (training provided).
  • Take accurate customer orders when needed.
  • Contribute to a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Comfortable working long hours on your feet.
  • Strong communication skills and a polite, professional attitude.
  • Basic computer knowledge; ability to learn simple design/printing software.
  • Fast learner with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
  • Willing to assist with any task, small or big.
  • Previous experience in production or customer service is helpful but not required.
  • Ability to lift light to moderate weight (garment boxes, materials).
  • Must be comfortable working on-site.
