Role Description

This is a full- time , on-site role for a Field Supervisor located in Edmonton AB. The Field Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations at the job site, ensure safety regulations are followed, coordinate with team members and subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

This role is a perfect blend of critical thinking and hands-on work, where you'll use your skills in building science, , and construction to design and install life-changing radon mitigation systems.

A Day in the Life:

  • Conduct comprehensive building assessments to diagnose radon issues and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Travel to job sites to design & install and customize radon mitigation systems.
  • Maintain strict adherence to industry regulations and company standards, ensuring all work is completed with meticulous attention to detail and quality.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in relevant trades: 3 years Prior experience in Under slab Vapor Barrier, 3 years Foundation Waterproofing 6 years in construction is a significant asset.
  • Mechanical proficiency: You should have a strong mechanical aptitude and be comfortable using power tools.
  • Problem-solving mindset: This role requires a knack for troubleshooting and a passion for problem-solving. You'll be designing and implementing effective solutions, not just performing installations.
  • Diagnostic skills: The ability to assess unique job site conditions and determine the most effective mitigation strategy is essential.
  • Foundational knowledge: A basic understanding of air pressure, ventilation, and building science is helpful, though comprehensive training is provided.
  • Mobility & Background: You must have a valid driver's license with a clean record and the ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Commitment to quality: A strong attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to high-quality workmanship are crucial.
  • Teamwork and independence: You should be able to work independently on tasks while also collaborating effectively as part of a small, supportive team.
