ABOUT THE ROLE

Join our team in a fast-paced and rewarding role where you'll play a key part in supporting both in-patient admissions and out-patient programs. From managing referrals and booking appointments to processing admissions and registering clients, you'll help ensure smooth access to care. Working closely with clients, clinicians, and registration staff, you'll make a real impact by keeping things running efficiently and ensuring everyone's needs are met.

WHAT YOU BRING

Education/Experience:

• One year post secondary office administration program or equivalent combination of education and experience is mandatory
• Recent admissions/registration and appointment scheduling experience
• Experience working in a computerized office environment

Skills/Abilities:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
• Proficiency in computerized registration and bookings software and keyboarding is essential
• Must have working knowledge of medical terminology and spelling expertise
• Accurate keyboarding skills are essential
• Demonstrated ability to provide client-centered support
• Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication listening and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a variety of client and clinicians on a daily basis
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Demonstrated regular attendance at work

Conditions of Employment:

• This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Criminal Record & Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
