Responsibilities:
Plan and implement control systems/processes to optimize efficiency of the catering and commissary operations functions incl. budgetary control. Develop and implement required local cost planning & control systems, including inventory management. Responsible for the design of systems and processes to achieve targets for meal overages and shortages at stations within the territory. Design, implement and maintain quality audit and control processes to ensure optimum value for the money. Responsible and accountable for Caterers on time performance within the designated territory. Responsible for all aspects of food, equipment and employee safety within scope of job.
Qualifications:
- University degree ideal but not required.
- Sound knowledge of commercial airline business.
- A definite multi-tasker that manages various operational issues and priorities at the same time.
- Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines whether independently or within a team.
- Self-motivated, proactive with drive to deliver results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills a must.
- Fundamental knowledge of HAACP and International Food Handling Standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required with complete fluency in English.
- Cultural awareness is required to build business and working relationships in various geographic locations within AC network.
- Requires in-depth expertise and knowledge of the field of work, incl. equipment, technology and procedures.
- Superior knowledge of airport operations and all Catering systems.
- Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.

Élaborer et mettre en œuvre les systèmes de planification et de contrôle des coûts locaux exigés, notamment en ce qui concerne la gestion des stocks. S'occuper de la conception des systèmes et des processus visant à atteindre les objectifs fixés pour les excédents et les insuffisances de repas aux escales situées sur le territoire. Concevoir, mettre en œuvre et tenir à jour des processus d'évaluation et de contrôle afin d'assurer le meilleur rapport qualité-prix. S'assurer de la ponctualité des traiteurs sur le territoire désigné et en rendre compte. S'assurer dans le cadre de ses responsabilités de tous les aspects liés à la sécurité à l'égard des pratiques relatives à la nourriture, au matériel et aux employés dans le cadre du travail.
Qualifications:
- Diplôme universitaire préférable, mais non obligatoire.
- Solide connaissance de l'aviation commerciale.
- Capacité avérée à effectuer plusieurs tâches à la fois et à gérer divers problèmes opérationnels et priorités en même temps.
- Capacité à travailler sous pression et à respecter les échéances de façon autonome ou au sein d'une équipe.
- Motivation, attitude proactive axée sur les résultats.
- Capacité d'analyse et de résolution de problèmes indispensable.
- Connaissances fondamentales des normes HAACP et des normes internationales en matière de manutention de produits alimentaires.
- Talent marqué pour la communication et les relations interpersonnelles, ainsi qu'une maîtrise parfaite de l'anglais.
- Sensibilisation aux cultures nécessaire pour établir des relations de travail et d'affaires dans les différents emplacements géographiques du réseau d'Air Canada.
- Connaissance et expertise avérées du domaine, notamment en ce qui concerne le matériel, la technologie et les procédures.
- Connaissance supérieure de l'exploitation aéroportuaire et de tous les systèmes de restauration.
- Faire preuve de ponctualité et de fiabilité pour soutenir le succès global de l'équipe dans un milieu trépidant.
