Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Lead System and Network Security Analyst to join our team. Key responsibilities include monitoring, analyzing, and securing networks, managing cybersecurity incidents, conducting technical assessments, implementing security measures, and collaborating with teams to enhance system protection and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • This role focuses on analyzing security events flagged by security platforms, integrating diverse security tools, fine-tuning detections, and supporting threat hunting and incident response.
  • Support endpoint protection operations using SentinelOne EDR and Microsoft Defender, including Threat Hunting, Event Analysis and response workflows.
  • Managing, configuing ans supporting Firewalls, SD-WAN, and ZTNA solutions, mainly Fortinet and Cloudflare.
  • Integrate security tools and enterprise systems using REST APIs, webhooks, syslog, and other interfaces.
  • Maintain and improve workflows in Jira JSM, as well as build and enhance SOAR automations.
  • Create and optimize detection rules, parsers, dashboards, and alerts to improve threat visibility.
  • Troubleshoot ingestion issues, ensure data quality, and perform routine SIEM/EDR health checks.
  • Assist with incident investigation, triage, and threat-hunting activities.

Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience in network management, security systems integration, API-based data ingestion, and SIEM/EDR engineering.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in information security operations, MSSP/SOC experience, SIEM, UEBA or EDR engineering, or systems integration.
  • Hands-on experience with Firewalls, SD-WAN, ZTNA, VPN and other network security solutions.
  • Proficiency with API integrations, scripting, and log formats (JSON, syslog, CEF).
  • Understanding of security frameworks (ISO27001, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, CIS).
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Local GTA candidates only.
  • Work on site, in the Vaughan office. No WFH.
  • No relocation
