Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and friendly Crew Member to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing food items, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the food industry while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Prior restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The Crew Member plays a vital role in ensuring our guests have a positive dining experience through efficient service and adherence to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
  • Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing guest needs
  • Manage time effectively to ensure timely order fulfillment during busy periods
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Assist with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality of all products
  • Support team members during peak hours by performing various duties as needed

Skills

  • Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environment preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient cashiering and order management
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Kitchen experience or prior food industry background is a plus
  • Upselling skills to promote menu items and enhance guest satisfaction

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.60-$17.80 per hour
