You are a Content Creator.

Location: Toronto, Hybrid.

You are a versatile creative with strong skills in animation, motion graphics, video editing, and graphic design. You understand social media deeply and know how to create engaging content tailored to various platforms. In this role, you will work across a wide range of digital projects, from animated commercial-style pieces to short-form social content and dynamic videos.

You are imaginative and self-sufficient, able to take guidance while confidently making decisions and navigating ambiguity. You bring fresh ideas, strong technical abilities, and a genuine interest in social media trends and platform behaviors.

What Are Your Responsibilities?

• Create high-quality graphics, videos, and animated content for social media and online platforms.
• Develop a wide range of deliverables including:
• Animated commercial-style videos
• Motion graphic social posts
• Short-form videos
• Edit and produce content optimized for specific social platforms (e.g., Reels, Stories, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
• Collaborate with the team to understand project goals while also working independently to execute creative ideas.
• Stay current with social media trends, platform formats, editing styles, and best practices.
• Organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Interpret feedback and revise content efficiently.

What Type of Qualities and Qualifications Should I Have?

• 2+ years of experience in content creation, motion graphics, or video production.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically:
• After Effects
• Premiere Pro
• Photoshop/Illustrator (for graphic work)
• Strong understanding of social media content styles:
• What makes an effective Reel or Story
• Editing flow, pacing, and platform-specific nuances
• Solid foundation in animation, motion design, and video editing.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and figuring out solutions with minimal hand-holding.
• A strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics, animation, and video work.

Preferred

• College or university degree in Media, Design, Animation, Film, or a related field.
• General interest and passion for social media, digital storytelling, and creative content trends.

The Canada base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000. Our salary ranges are determined by job and level. Within the range, individual compensation is determined by job-related skills and knowledge, relevant experience including professional and lived experience, and/or work location.
