Job Description
Reporting to the Managing Director of Client Operations for EU/NA we're seeking an exceptional leader for a rapidly growing PERA team. Your core focus will be staff engagement, client satisfaction, leading and driving change in operating model and being a key stakeholder in designing and sponsorship of that model.
Key Responsibilities include the following:
- Team leadership encompassing high staff engagement, talent development and building strength and depth within the group.
- Managing a team across multiple jurisdictions.
- Maintaining excellent client satisfaction through exceptional delivery of service and responsiveness to client needs.
- A continuous focus on risk and enhancement of our control environment through automation, controls and staff training amongst others.
- Measurement of key KPI's and targets including budget adherence, productivity targets and risk reduction.
- Being a key stakeholder in evolution of our operating model with input into the design and selection of technology that will enhance and the efficiency, scalability and effectiveness of our processes.
- Sponsor and drive change across our multiple jurisdictions as required to ensure maximum adherence to aforementioned operating model as it evolves.
- Deploy staff in optimum location mix that best serves our business and our clients. This should also encompass D&I.
- Support business development opportunities both directly and indirectly through ensuring depth of talent capable of showcasing our firms' operational capabilities.
- Develop close relationships with key stakeholders in 1st and 2nd line departments who are key to supporting the business.
- Visit both staff locations and clients' offices periodically to build, foster and evaluate relationships.
- Demonstrate proactive approach to industry and regulatory changes that will impact our clients
Qualifications
- Accounting qualification or equivalent financial designation.
- At least 10 years' experience working at a similar level in Financial Services or Fund Administration more broadly, a proportion of which should be directly in the Private Assets space.
- Solid technical understanding of alternative investment types, structures, regulatory environment and market participants across the core domiciles used in this space
- Familiar with accounting platforms such as Investran and Yardi
- Exceptional communicator, both verbally and written.
- Strong business acumen with history of sound business decision making
- History of being solution orientated when comes to problem solving.
