In this role, you'll be the financial backbone of the plant, ensuring accuracy in reporting, improving cost management, and delivering insights that help the team make smarter, faster decisions. What You'll Do
Lead all aspects of financial reporting and analysis for the plant, ensuring timely and accurate results in line with Canadian GAAP and internal standards.Oversee cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support operational excellence.Partner with the operations team to improve efficiency, strengthen margins, and support continuous improvement initiatives.Manage inventory valuation, cost control, and physical inventory processes to ensure transparency and accountability.Provide meaningful financial insights that link operational performance to profitability.Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with audit, tax, and corporate requirements.Develop and mentor a high-performing plant finance team, fostering collaboration and a culture of accountability.What You BringBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or equivalent designation preferred).7-10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including several years in a manufacturing or plant-based leadership role.Strong expertise in cost accounting, inventory management, and ERP systems (Syteline, Epicor, or similar).Proven ability to partner with operations to improve cost efficiency, margins, and cash flow.Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a hands-on, problem-solving approach.Experience in aerospace or other regulated manufacturing industries is a plus.
