Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Warehouse/Driver to join our team. This role involves operating a box van or utility trucks, managing warehouse distribution tasks, and ensuring efficient shipping and receiving operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems, and a strong understanding of safety protocols. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and mechanical aptitude are essential for success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage warehouse distribution processes, including order picking, packing, and order fulfillment
  • Assist with shipping & receiving activities, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing of goods
  • Utilize warehouse management systems such as AS400 for inventory control and order tracking
  • Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of materials in accordance with safety standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to promote a safe working environment
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on delivery vehicles and report any mechanical issues promptly
  • Support construction or manufacturing-related tasks as needed, demonstrating mechanical knowledge when required

Experience

  • Previous warehouse experience is highly preferred, especially in distribution or manufacturing environments
  • Proficiency with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems like AS400 or similar platforms
  • Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance is advantageous
  • Experience in shipping & receiving, order picking, packaging, and load & unload procedures
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Knowledge of construction or manufacturing processes is a plus but not required

This role requires a dedicated individual capable of operating heavy machinery safely while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency within the warehouse environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$25.02 per hour
