Overview

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse/Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. This role involves managing warehouse distribution tasks, and ensuring the efficient movement of goods. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems, forklift operation, and shipping & receiving processes. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where safety, accuracy, and efficiency are paramount.

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move products within the warehouse
  • Manage shipping and receiving functions, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing of goods
  • Perform order picking, packing, and fulfillment to meet customer demands
  • Utilize warehouse systems for inventory control and order tracking
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on heavy equipment and report any mechanical issues
  • Assist in construction or warehouse setup projects as needed
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all operations involving heavy lifting and equipment use
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently while maintaining safety standards
  • Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock and optimizing storage space

Qualifications

  • Proven experience operating forklifts, reach trucks
  • Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Experience with shipping & receiving procedures and order fulfillment processes
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
  • Familiarity with order picking, packaging, and load & unload operations
  • Warehouse experience in distribution or manufacturing environments preferred
  • Valid certification for forklift or crane operation is desirable
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
