About the Role:
This is a full time permanent position working under a remote-first hybrid model in Vancouver, BC (1 day in office per week).

Our client is a US-based Agentic AI startup, well funded (Series B) and established. Having secured their latest round of funding recently, they are establishing a Vancouver office, focused on engineering.
We are looking for talented Senior Backend software engineers to join their growing team in Vancouver. You will contribute to the development of their AI-powered sales tools, focusing on building and maintaining robust backend systems and fullstack applications.   Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain backend systems using , MongoDB, and AWS.Contribute to fullstack development using React (role is generally backend-focused - this is nice to have).Ensure efficient data flow and system performance.Collaborate with the Tech Lead and other team members to deliver high-quality software.Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.Work with cloud services on AWS.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in backend/fullstack development.Extensive experience in architecting, designing, and developing scalable and reliable backend services for SaaS platformsExperience in , MongoDB, AWS platforms and services is a plus, but not required. Solid understanding of both SQL and NoSQL database systems.Experience with React (backend-focused).Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Experience working with or integrating into modern sales tech stacks (e.g., CRMs, sales engagement platforms) is a plus, but not required.

Base salary: $150,000- $180,000 CAD
