Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Director to lead our Centre. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with strong administrative skills, a heart for children, and a commitment to fostering a positive and professional team culture.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with BC childcare licensing regulations
  • Lead and support a team of early childhood educators
  • Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum
  • Manage budgets, enrollment, and administrative records
  • Build strong relationships with families and staff
  • Promote a nurturing, inclusive, and faith-informed learning environment
  • Support staff training and development
Qualifications
  • Valid ECE certification and BC License to Practice
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in early childhood education, with 2+ years in a leadership role
  • Legally allowed to work in Canada
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of BC childcare regulations and best practices
  • Alignment with the mission and values of Cedar Grove Church
