Duties

  • Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
  • Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Handle food safely during preparation, serving, and packaging to ensure health standards are met.
  • Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy dining environment.
  • Manage cash register transactions accurately while providing excellent service.
  • Support team members during busy periods by multitasking between duties such as food prep, cashiering, and cleaning.

Skills

  • Experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service restaurant environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math for upselling opportunities.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while managing time effectively.
  • Experience in culinary roles or kitchen environments is advantageous but not required.
