Job Summary

We are seeking vigilant and professional Security Guards to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidates will be responsible for monitoring the property, preventing theft or vandalism, and responding promptly to security incidents. This position requires coverage Monday through Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and we will need approximately three Security Guards rotating shifts to cover this schedule. This is a dynamic role where attention to detail, reliability, and proactive security measures are essential.

Duties

  • Conduct regular patrols of the facility to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards
  • Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, to oversee all areas of the property
  • Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, loss, or unauthorized access
  • Respond swiftly and appropriately to alarms, emergencies, or security breaches
  • Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with management and law enforcement when necessary
  • Control access points by verifying identification, checking every candidate entering the property, recording entries, and submitting reports to the manager
  • Assist with loss prevention strategies by observing customer or visitor behavior and deterring theft or misconduct
  • Ensure all security equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions or damages
  • Remain stationed outdoors when required, including during cold weather, to monitor entry points and maintain security presence

Skills

  • Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred
  • Knowledge of CCTV systems and strong surveillance skills
  • Ability to perform loss prevention duties effectively while maintaining professionalism
  • Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills for clear and accurate incident reporting
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond quickly during emergencies
  • Physical fitness to patrol large areas and stand for extended periods
  • Security license is nice to have

This role is vital in maintaining a safe environment for everyone on-site. Candidates should demonstrate integrity, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
