Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Junior Web Developer & IT Associate, located in Toronto, ON. The role involves assisting with front-end and back-end web development, programming, web design, and other web development tasks to support the company's internal and client-facing needs. The candidate will also handle IT-related responsibilities, troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring seamless operations across systems.

You will have a strong growth path with exposure to many aspects of IT and client facing responsibilities.

  • Web development
    — build and enhance client websites and small web apps (HTML/CSS, JavaScript; learn Typescript/Python as needed).
  • AI media workflows
    — generate images (Midjourney or Gemini) and short videos (Gemini) to support marketing and product needs.
  • IT administration & help desk
    — triage tickets, troubleshoot common M365/end-user issues, and document fixes.

Responsibilities

  • Translate client briefs into responsive websites and web apps.
  • Write clean, well-documented HTML/CSS/JavaScript; use Git/GitHub for collaboration.
  • You may be required to learn new programing languages which will be supported (python, typescript, VBA...)
  • Use
    AI tools
    to generate images/video assets for clients.
  • Handle
    ad hoc IT support
    (account setup, mailbox quirks, simple endpoint issues), escalate when needed, and keep concise notes.
  • Create client help desk and handoff documentation.

Qualifications New Grad to 3 years

  • Bachelor Degree in computer science or software engineering
  • Solid
    HTML/CSS/JavaScript
    fundamentals; Be prepared to provide some work of a website for code review.
  • Project management skills, independence and juggling tasks
  • Clear written communication and a service mindset for end users.

Compensation

  • Base:
    $51,000–$56,000 CAD
  • Bonus:
    Up to
    15%
  • Time Off:
    4 weeks paid vacation
