Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Data Architect
to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-scale data systems and cloud-based architectures.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader who can align data strategy, architecture, and governance with organizational goals—enabling scalable, secure, and efficient digital solutions across multiple platforms and teams.
This position offers an opportunity to shape the data foundation for large-scale enterprise initiatives, modernize legacy systems, and drive cloud adoption across public and private environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead
data architecture strategy and design
for enterprise applications and digital platforms. - Develop
data models, governance frameworks, and standards
for structured and unstructured data. - Design, provision, and optimize databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, etc.) for performance, scalability, and high availability.
- Define and implement
data management, analytics, and integration architectures
aligned with cloud-native principles. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams—Product Owners, Developers, Architects, and DevOps engineers—to deliver high-quality data-driven solutions.
- Ensure adherence to
data governance, security, and compliance
best practices. - Conduct
data analysis, impact assessments, and risk mitigation
to support business and technical decisions. - Mentor technical teams and promote continuous improvement in data architecture practices.
- Drive innovation through emerging technologies such as
AI, ML, automation, and advanced analytics

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
- 8+ years
of progressive experience as a
Data Architect, Software Architect, or Senior Data Engineer
. - Proven experience designing and implementing
enterprise-level databases and data solutions
in large-scale environments. - Strong understanding of
cloud architecture
(Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern data platforms. - Expertise in
data modeling, database performance tuning, and optimization
. - Deep knowledge of
enterprise architecture principles
, methods, and best practices. - Hands-on experience with the
Microsoft technology stack
(.NET, Azure, SQL Server). - Minimum
2 years
working on a large enterprise project end-to-end in a data leadership capacity.
Preferred Experience
- Experience leading
data modernization
or
cloud migration
initiatives. - Familiarity with
AI-driven data management
and
automation
of data pipelines. - Experience collaborating with teams practicing
UX design

human-centered design
. - Proficiency in
data governance, metadata management, and security frameworks
