Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to provide exceptional in-home support to the client. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and enhance the quality of life for the individual. Responsibilities

  • Assist client with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Support with mobility and transfer assistance, including heavy lifting when necessary
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
  • Administer medications following prescribed instructions
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
  • Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
  • Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
  • Support the client with activities of daily living to promote independence and well-being

Experience

  • Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care settings is preferred
  • Knowledge of patient care, senior care, hospice care, and working with people with disabilities is advantageous
  • Experience in care and caregiving roles is highly valued
  • Familiarity with medication administration and nursing procedures is a plus
  • Candidates should have strong caregiving skills, patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.17 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
