Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice under new ownwership at Centre Dentaire de luskville. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing exceptional patient care, promoting oral health, and supporting the overall success of our team. This role offers an opportunity to work in a friendly, patient-focused environment with a focus on comprehensive dental services. Prior experience with dental office management software and a strong understanding of dental procedures are highly valued.

We are very flexible can be part time full time as many hours or days as possible. There will be many benefits including paid licences and training. Looking to build a Long term relationship to build a successful practice as a team.

Duties

  • Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
  • Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans
  • Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient appointments and ensure sterilization protocols are followed
  • Manage patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and provide excellent customer service
  • Support pediatric patients with gentle care and effective communication
  • Assist with orthodontic procedures when necessary and provide post-treatment instructions

Skills

  • Proficiency with Axxium or other dental practice management software
  • Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations
  • Experience in dental assisting and familiarity with medical terminology
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for patients
  • Excellent communication skills to educate patients about oral health and treatment options
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in a dental office setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $45.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
