Job Description & Requirements

  • Please note: term of employment is as stated above OR return of incumbent.

We are seeking a qualified teacher who must possess:

  • A Manitoba Teacher's Certificate, or eligibility for teacher certification in the Province of Manitoba.
  • A minimum of three years elementary teaching experience and/or previous experience as a Literacy Support Teacher.
  • Specialized literacy qualifications.
  • Commitment to participate in ongoing professional development.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as an effective member of a team in delivering a quality program.

Preference will be given to candidates who qualify in one or more of the following:

  • Resource certification.
  • Reading Recovery training.
  • Appropriate university level education courses.
