Stepabroad is looking for a
Travel Coordinator
who has lived, worked, and/or studied abroad and has first-hand insight into making every cultural exchange experience successful. We're a Recognized Organization (RO) with International Experience Canada (IEC), supporting young Canadians as they take the exciting step of moving abroad and enjoying a life-changing working holiday adventure.
You will be a great fit for our team if you love talking travel and will always go the extra mile for your clients. You are a self-starter and focused on getting great results, but you don't forget to have a good time whilst getting there. You are a person that is highly detail oriented, excels at building relationships, and understands the value of excellent service. If you are passionate about travel and customer experience management, this position will be perfect to kick-start your international career.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage with sales leads across multiple channels, helping them understand our programs and supporting them through the decision-making process while meeting monthly sales targets.
- Organizing and coordinating stage of a participant's journey (assistance with securing visas, giving informative orientations about their destination, answering all questions).
- Maintain accurate and up to date knowledge of a wide range of travel destinations and itineraries, as well as visa procedures and requirements.
- Contribute to ongoing projects including research, process improvements, and gathering content from participants abroad for our social media team.
YOU MUST BE
- Passionate about travel and excited to spark that enthusiasm in others.
- An excellent communicator who genuinely enjoys talking with people and feels comfortable speaking in public (videos, webinars, presentations, etc.).
- Confident speaking on the phone and on video chat
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Adaptable - change is constant in the travel industry
- A resourceful problem solver - you enjoy finding answers to challenging questions and solutions to travel related issues
- A strong writer with polished, professional email communication.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a supportive team environment
- Bilingual French English is a major advantage
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Post Secondary Education - life, travel, and work experience is also highly considered
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience living, studying, and/or working abroad
- Previous experience working in an office or remote team environment is desirable.
- Experience in sales or travel industry is a plus
- Outgoing and confident personality
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
