Cruises & Alaska Land Coordinator
to join our North America Operations team in Vancouver and help keep our operations running seamlessly.
Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring APT's and Travelmarvel's Cruises cruises and cruise-tours are delivered according to customer expectations and agreed service targets in the most efficient way.
Key responsibilities:
- Revising pre-season documents for Crew and guests
- Preparing documents for the Cruise Liaisons and Tour Directors
- Coordinating onboard events and land reservations with HAL
- Responding to enquiries from Crew, International Tour Administration, Product, CSC, Docs about day to day operations
- Monitoring the quality of the experience delivered on Cruises and on Alaska Land tours to our guests
ABOUT YOU
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and with exceptional problem-solving/analytical skills
- Capable of multitasking, managing time, prioritizing, working under pressure and in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Sense of initiative and willingness to learn and aid team members and other departments.
- Able to communicate professionally with people of all ages and all backgrounds.
- Excellent computer skills, in particular Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Teams etc.
- Knowledge of tourist destinations in Canada and Alaska, and of APT/TM Products there, an asset.
- Experience dealing with suppliers and/or Crew an asset.
- Experience having worked on cruise ships and/or living/working in Alaska an asset
Note: This position requires a Tue-Sat schedule between May and September due to the Cruising Schedule. Due to the seasonality of the business in North America, overtime work might be required during the summer season (March to September) and will be offset by flexible/in lieu hours in Winter. All overtime must be pre-approved by the Director of Operations.
