Summary

As Foreman at Cor-Crete you are responsible for overseeing all aspects of concrete construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves supervising crews, coordinating with project managers, and maintaining productivity on-site while enforcing safety and compliance regulations.

Responsibilities

· Supervise, coordinate, and schedule daily activities of work crews, including labourers, carpenters, and finishers.

· Ensure that all safety paperwork, checklists, and time tracking for payroll are completed accurately each day.

· Ensure all work is completed according to project plans, specifications, and deadlines.

· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project documents to guide work crews.

· Conduct site inspections to maintain quality control and adherence to safety standards.

· Identify and resolve any on-site issues or challenges in real-time.

· Communicate effectively with project managers and general contractors' site super.

· Monitor material usage and order supplies as needed to prevent shortages or delays.

· Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members, providing guidance on best practices.

· Enforce workplace safety regulations and ensure all employees follow proper procedures.

· Maintain accurate records of site activities, including work progress, incidents, and personnel performance.

· Foremen are working alongside the crew with tool belts on while on-site to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with company standards.
