We are seeking a motivated kitchen helper/dishwasher at Happy House Daycare SOUTH location to work alongside our cook.

Shift: 8:45am – 5:15pm, Monday to Friday

Must be a permanent resident or a Canadian Citizen.

Position involves:

  1. Ability to work in confidentiality environment

  2. Work well with others

  3. Able to work side by side with the cook

  4. Openly able to communicate with others

  5. Passionate and driven

  6. Clean and sanitize items such as dishes, dishwasher mats and carts

  7. Load bus pans and trays

  8. Deliver meals to classrooms

  9. Operate dishwashers to wash dishes

  10. Place dishes in storage area

  11. Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas

  12. Remove kitchen garbage and trash

  13. Sweep and mop floors

  14. Remain efficient with time and tasks

  15. Able to work independently and as a team
