Receptionist
Energize Health is looking for an upbeat, courteous, and confident individual to join our work family as a receptionist, working Fridays at our Acadia office (SE Calgary) and Sundays at our Evanston office (NW Calgary).
There will be opportunities for additional shifts by way of covering vacation, sick, or personal leave for other members of the front desk team. These are on an as-needed/ as-available basis.
This role centers around reception and administrative duties, providing unparalleled customer service to our amazing client base, and supporting our team of chiropractors, physiotherapists, massage therapists, and other allied health care providers.
The minimum hours of work are:
- Friday from 3:30 pm to approximately 8:15 pm (Acadia location), and
- Sundays from 9:45 am to approximately 5:15 pm (Evanston location)

- Able to prioritize multiple conflicting demands, without getting flustered or forgetting something,
- Comfortable with technology (Windows/ PC; previous experience with JaneApp would be an asset but training will be provided),
- Self-starters who are able to work independently (with support as needed),
- Available for the regular hours of work described above, ideally with flexible availability to cover additional shifts as needed.
Responsibilities are what you may expect from a busy chiro/ physio/ massage clinic, except there is minimal filing as almost everything we do is digital. You will:
- Be able to reliably commute to both of our locations for the shifts as described;
- Be knowledgeable, confident, and proficient when fielding inquiries and making recommendations for existing and prospective clients (training will be provided);
- Develop rapport with our clients (this is where your super friendly personality shines);
- Assist with client retention and engagement strategies;
- Manage the appointment schedules of our clinical team;
- Handle payments and submit insurance claims;
- Launder clinic linens and take care of light cleaning;
- Enjoy opportunities to gain exposure to other areas of business including marketing, design, client relations, business development, recruitment, procurement - the sky is the limit
