Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Concession Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our concession stands in BC Place Stadium and Roger's Arena.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. As a Concession Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety compliance, and delivering high-quality food and beverage offerings to our customers.

Duties

  • Supervise and train concession staff to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service.
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high standards of quality.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and conducting regular stock checks.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash handling procedures.
  • Develop schedules for staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak times.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with management on menu planning and promotional activities.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
  • Proven ability to supervise and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • A background in hospitality or food preparation is highly desirable.
