Your Mission:

As our Process Co-op, you'll support the Operations Manager in overseeing and optimizing the composting process, ensuring the safe and efficient conversion of organic waste into high-quality compost or other beneficial products. By adhering to site permits and contracts, the Co-op plays a crucial role in promoting environmental sustainability. Through careful monitoring and operational expertise, the Co-op drives the process towards maximum efficiency, contributing to a cleaner, greener future.

Here's what an ordinary day of work might look like:

· Exciting Sample Collection: Venture into the field to collect a wide array of samples (solid, water, air) from different operational points, adding a dynamic element to your day.

· Lab Adventure: Dive into the world of laboratory analysis, where you'll conduct thorough assessments of samples to evaluate their composition and quality, gaining valuable hands-on experience.

· Data Digitization Journey: Join us in our digital transformation journey by actively digitizing data from operator sheets and the SCADA system, enhancing your tech-savviness.

· Data Management Exploration: Transform manual records into digital formats, opening doors to streamlined data management and enhanced accessibility, a crucial skill in today's digital world.

· Data Analysis Expedition: Embark on a journey of data analysis, where you'll unravel insights to facilitate process optimization and support informed decision-making, honing your analytical skills.

· SCADA System Adventure: Support tasks through the SCADA system, overseeing tunnel irrigation, regulating acid dosing, and ensuring the efficient operation of tunnels, providing you with hands-on experience in a critical system.

This job is for you if you:

· Are currently pursuing a BSc. Degree program in Chemical, Environmental or Biochemical Engineering, or a relevant field.

· Have intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

· Have a hands-on approach, willing to be on the floor and lead by example.

· Excel in planning and organizing tasks efficiently.

· Are proactive and take initiate, working well independently.

· Have great communication skills, both verbal and written, are excellent.

· Can work independently and in a team.

· Are open to learning, unafraid to make mistakes, and willing to seek feedback.
