CPSC 272: Web Application Development

This course introduces both client-side and server-side techniques for building interactive, data-driven web applications. Students gain a broad, practical overview of modern full-stack workflows, integrating frontend frameworks, backend logic, databases, and deployment. The course emphasizes development using Angular, , and SQL databases, with tools like GitHub and Postman.

Candidates with a graduate degree (MSc or PhD) in Computer Science or a related discipline will be considered. Teaching experience at the postsecondary level and/or evidence of instructional training is preferred. Related professional experience such as solution and integration of web-based software systems and experience with cloud such AWS, AKS will be viewed favorably. The Northwest campus in Terrace is situated on traditional Ts'msyen (Tsimshian) territory of the Kitsumkalum and Kitselas First Nations. It includes a satellite campus in the coastal community of Prince Rupert.
